Finally Settled In

Well, we sold our house and are finally settled in to our nice, cozy rent house. It will be nice to have a little bit of a 9-month vacation from home-owner responsibilities. Thanks to my mother and father in law who helped us move. I had TOTALLY under-estimated the feat and would never have gotten it all accomplished without their help. Don't tell, but sometimes a little too much help... I am actually writing this blog in the same outfit I have had on for 10 days since my mother-in-law "helped" me clean out my closet. By "helped" I mean she threw away all my clothes that were over 10 years old. Can you believe that!??? Dear Santa, I need some new clothes! I'm just kidding... it actually looks great. I can see my clothes again and now only have in my closet what I actually wear. She did, however, make me become obsessed about one more thing in my life... hangers. That's OK, her times a comin'. My brother, Damon, and his wife, Becky, came and got our swingset and then got "conned" into helping set up the trampoline along with my parents and Rick and Marilyn. Damon and I had a little friendly, sibling, seat drop contest, which I won... pictures to come later, hopefully. We will forget about the knee drop contest.

In the meantime, I have not posted some of the great things that my kids have been doing in the middle of the move. Soccer, gymnastics, ice skating, etc.

Madalyn and Caitin both won the Citizenship award for this 9-weeks.

We were so proud of Madalyn at her first pre-team tag meet. She did a great job!

We are going to some friends tonight to watch the OU vs. OSU football game. GO OU!!!!
